On October 6th, the Morris Knolls and Morris Hills String Ensemble and Band came together and met with middle school students to put on a performance for parents, students, and administrators.

Every year MK and MH show the middle school students what they have to look forward to when they join the music program in high school.

Each ensemble prepared 4 songs. They practiced at school on their own time, and when they came together, the groups worked all morning to make the songs sound as best as they could.

After lunch, everyone gathered into the MH auditorium and played the songs that they had rehearsed.

This year was a great success! Every year we see more students join the music program, hopefully this continues and we can enjoy District Music Day for many years to come.
