This year’s spring musical was a production of Into the Woods. With some of the stars of the show being, Liz Vex, Haley Flake, Alyssa Shoemaker, Taylor Olsen, and Maria Schneider, the show was extremely popular. The musical had an exciting plot that kept students and parents on the edge of their seats, and many can agree that the songs featured in the musical were stuck in students’ heads for weeks after the show.

Audience members were lead on an exciting adventure: there were twists and turns, and seemingly many different stories going on at once. “It was confusing at first but I thought it was a very good musical and everyone in it is very talented,” Brittany Ramos, senior at Morris Knolls stated. Towards intermission, the storylines came together and the musical really started to come together. “My favorite part was the end when all the parts came together and the characters really started to shine,” said sophomore Gianangelo Dichio, “I really liked when Maria Schneider’s character started to switch to the good side and they fought the giant together.”

Senior, Liz Vex, was really excited about this year’s show. It was her last musical with Morris Knolls and she gave it her all. “I practiced everyday and made sure that everything was how it was supposed to be. It was a really fun show and I’m happy that we performed such a fun piece during my senior year.”

The musical was a hit for everyone and it left new audience members excited for shows to come in the future.
