After working as a staff assistant at Dwyer elementary school for 20 years, Mrs. Crocetti decided to continue her career at Morris Knolls. After graduating from Rowan University with a degree in psychology, she knew she wanted to help young people. When asked why she decided to make the jump from elementary to high school, Mrs. Crocetti shared, “I wanted a change of pace and a full time, more career-oriented job.” As part of being a staff assistant, Mrs. Crocetti specializes in assisting students who are in the special education program, and plans to continue working with these students when Unified Soccer begins.
Sophomore Sophie Dechene, who knew Mrs. Crocetti from Dwyer, shared her thoughts on the staff assistant. “She still remembers who I am to this day,” Sophie remarked. “Mrs. Crocetti would always say ‘hi’ to me in the hallways and ask me how I’m doing.”
Growing up, Mrs. Crocetti was an active student at her alma mater, Hoffman High School. Aside from participating in her school’s basketball, cross country, and bowling teams, she loved spending time playing chess. Now in her free time, Mrs. Crocetti plays competitive darts, camps, and volunteers at an array of local clubs. When asked about what she likes so far about Knolls, Mrs. Crocetti remarked, “The students here are nice and respectful.” She looks forward to attending football games and seeing all that Morris Knolls has to offer.
